AsiaWorld-Expo Invites EOI for Naming Rights of Planned 20,000-Seat Super Arena

AsiaWorld-Expo (AWE) has invited Expressions of Interest (EOI) for the naming rights and strategic venue alliances for its planned Super Arena in Hong Kong. The 20,000-seat venue is expected to become Hong Kong’s largest indoor multipurpose venue when construction is completed by the end of 2028.

The Super Arena is the centrepiece of AWE’s Phase 2 expansion, which will increase the complex’s total exhibition space from 70,000 square metres to 100,000 square metres. The development is part of Skytopia, the broader Airport City master plan being developed by Airport Authority Hong Kong (AAHK).

The arena is being designed to host international concert tours, sporting events and corporate conventions. It will feature a 360-degree audiovisual setup, flexible bowl configurations and 30 VIP suites with dedicated hospitality services.

According to AWE, the arena’s layout has been developed following consultations with industry stakeholders and is designed to support the growing trend of “festivalisation”, where indoor conferences are combined with outdoor lifestyle, dining and live entertainment experiences.

Along with naming rights, potential brand partners will have access to integrated sponsorship opportunities, including digital branding across ticketing platforms, corporate hospitality and activation spaces across the venue.

Irene Chan, CEO of AsiaWorld-Expo said, “AWE Phase 2 represents far more than an expansion of the venue; it marks a new milestone for Hong Kong’s events industry. We invite leading global brands to forge long-term strategic partnerships with us and seize the significant opportunities arising from Hong Kong’s mega-event economy.”

Located next to Hong Kong International Airport, the Super Arena is positioned to serve audiences across the Greater Bay Area, which has a population of 87 million. The venue is connected to the region through the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge and the Airport Express, with upcoming autonomous transport networks also expected to support connectivity.

Companies interested in submitting proposals can access the EOI details through the official AsiaWorld-Expo website.
