As the festive season approaches, Teamwork Arts is set to begin another edition of its Festival Voyage with the fifth edition of Sleepwell Presents The Sacred Amritsar, scheduled to take place from 19–21 February 2027 in Amritsar.
The festival, produced by Teamwork Arts in association with Sleepwell, celebrates the city’s history, culture and spiritual traditions through mystic poetry, music, conversations and curated experiences. The inaugural edition was held in Amritsar in March 2023.
Over two and a half days, the festival will take delegates beyond Amritsar’s well-known landmarks and into its music, history, cuisine, stories and living traditions. The delegate experience will feature musical performances in the mornings and evenings, afternoon discourses on poetry and literature, heritage walks, temple tours and opportunities to explore the city’s food and cultural heritage.
The festival’s focus on mystic poetry draws from the rich traditions associated with poets and writers whose work has explored themes of devotion, longing and spirituality. The Sacred Amritsar also uses the city itself as an important part of the experience, bringing delegates closer to its historic and cultural spaces.
The official festival website currently lists 19–21 February 2027 as the dates for the next edition, while the artiste lineup and detailed schedule are yet to be announced.
The Sacred Amritsar 2027 will continue the festival’s focus on creating an immersive experience that brings together music, poetry, heritage, food and the cultural character of Amritsar.
