Pankaj Kalra has joined ZEE Music Company as Director-Marketing. In his new role, he will oversee marketing initiatives for the music label.
Prior to joining ZEE Music Company, Kalra was associated with Saregama India, where he served as Senior Marketing Manager from March 2022 to July 2024. He was later promoted to Chief Manager-Marketing, a role he held from July 2024 to September 2026.
Before Saregama, Kalra worked with Hungama. He joined the company as Manager-Marketing in November 2018 and was promoted to Senior Manager-Marketing in April 2020, continuing in the role until March 2022.
Kalra’s earlier experience includes a stint at 9X Media, where he joined as Assistant Manager Marketing in January 2015. He was promoted to Manager-Marketing in August 2016 and continued with the company until November 2018.
He also worked with Shemaroo Entertainment, serving as Senior Executive Marketing from January 2013 to March 2014 before being promoted to Assistant Manager-Marketing in April 2014. He remained with the company until January 2015.
Kalra began his career at Planet M Retail, where he worked as Senior Executive-Marketing from March 2012 to January 2013. With experience across music, entertainment and media companies, Kalra will now lead marketing initiatives at ZEE Music Company.
