Badshah and KR$NA to Bring Indian Hip-Hop to MLBx: Mumbai

Badshah and KR$NA are set to take Indian hip-hop to a new sporting platform as the rappers join the music lineup for MLBx: Mumbai, Major League Baseball’s first event in India, scheduled for October 24.

The event will bring together baseball, music and entertainment, with Badshah, KR$NA and DJ OG Shez announced as the music headliners. MLB Ambassador Suryakumar Yadav, along with former MLB All-Stars Nick Swisher and Adrián González, will also be part of the event.

MLBx will introduce a fast-paced 3-on-3 baseball format to Indian audiences, with four teams and 12 players competing as part of the Mumbai event.

For Badshah and KR$NA, the appearance marks another instance of Indian hip-hop finding space beyond traditional music venues and entering large-scale sporting and entertainment platforms.

Badshah brings his commercial rap sound to the lineup, while KR$NA represents India’s contemporary hardcore hip-hop movement. Together, their presence is expected to add a distinctly Indian music identity to the event.

MLBx: Mumbai will take place on October 24, bringing sport, music and pop culture together under the Major League Baseball banner.
