Three-time Grammy®️ Award winner, Padma Shri recipient, and UN Goodwill Ambassador Ricky Kej has announced the guest artist ensemble for his upcoming project, DAMROOH – Dance To The Cosmic Spirit, produced and promoted by Wizcraft.
The international line-up will feature Keith Middleton, who has performed with STOMP for more than eighteen years and also appeared in the IMAX film Pulse: A Stomp Odyssey.
The vocal line-up includes Bollywood playback singers Sudhir Yaduvanshi, Siddharth Basrur, Anjana Padmanabhan, and Abi K Safa, along with classical vocalist Siddhartha Belmannu.
The rhythm section will feature percussionists Karthik Mani and Arun Kumar, while sitarists Mayank Raina and Arjun Anand, sarangi player Manonmani, and electric guitarist Shashank Akella will add to the instrumental ensemble.
DAMROOH will see Ricky Kej move away from his usual festival format for a fully seated and immersive orchestral experience. The project will run in support of UNICEF and continues Kej’s environmental and humanitarian work.
Inspired by the rhythm of the Damaru, which represents the cosmic life force and the living planet, the experience will combine a cinematic symphonic orchestra with immersive, technology-driven staging. The production will also feature global instruments including the Kora, Hang Drum, Sarod and Didgeridoo.
The tour will begin on October 31, 2026, at Terraform Arena in Bengaluru, followed by a performance on November 28, 2026, at Leisure Valley Park in New Delhi NCR (Gurugram). The announced dates will conclude with a performance on December 5, 2026, at MMRDA Grounds in Mumbai.
