Three-time Grammy® Award winner, Padma Shri recipient, Guinness World Record holder and UN Goodwill Ambassador Ricky Kej has announced his multi-city India arena tour, ‘DAMROOH – Dance To The Cosmic Spirit’. The tour will begin in October 2026 and continue through December 2026.
Produced and promoted by Wizcraft, the tour will travel across key Indian markets including Bengaluru, New Delhi, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad and Chennai, with an expected combined audience of over 30,000 attendees.
The tour will see Kej move beyond a traditional concert format to present a fully seated, immersive orchestral experience. Built around the theme of ecological connectivity, the show will combine a live symphonic orchestra, cinematic scoring, electronic textures and global instrumentation.
Ricky Kej said, “Damrooh is not a concert, it is a heartbeat. The Damaru has always represented the primal pulse of creation, and I wanted to build an entire world around that rhythm — one where orchestral music, nature and technology speak the same language. This tour is deeply personal to me, and doing it in support of UNICEF, alongside artists who have shaped my own musical journey, makes it even more meaningful. I can’t wait to bring Damrooh home to India.”
The production will bring together orchestral instrumentation, indigenous world sounds, global voices, electronic textures and elements inspired by nature. The music will include reimagined versions of Kej’s signature works along with original compositions, with the Damaru serving as a central musical theme.
The show will also feature rare instruments from around the world, including the Kora, Hang Drum, Sarod and Didgeridoo, alongside classical sitars. The production will combine music with immersive visuals, lighting and technology to create a connected experience around nature and cosmic energy.
Kej will also be joined by international guest artists, who will be announced at a later date.
