DRIVEN, India’s original all-women car and bike rally, is set to return to Bengaluru for its seventh edition on March 8, 2027, coinciding with International Women’s Day. Organised by Zeroin Management, the rally brings women drivers and riders together for a day on the road, with the focus on precision, navigation and participation rather than speed.
The rally follows the Time-Speed-Distance (TSD) format, a motorsport format where participants are required to maintain prescribed average speeds and reach checkpoints at the right time. The winner is determined by timing accuracy rather than who reaches the finish line first. This allows first-time participants to compete alongside experienced rally drivers without needing a specially modified vehicle.
DRIVEN has completed six editions since its launch in 2017. According to the organisers, the event has so far brought more than 800 women behind the wheel. Its previous editions have included routes from Bengaluru to Nandi Hills, Coorg, Hampi and Mandya, with the rally returning in 2025 after a break of several years.
For the 2027 edition, both cars and bikes will be eligible, with road-legal vehicles allowed to participate. While the driver or rider must be a woman, navigators and passengers can be of any gender. The organisers also state that prior rallying experience is not required, keeping the event open to newcomers as well as experienced participants.
The seventh edition will also introduce an original DRIVEN anthem, recorded in English, Hindi and Kannada, adding a musical element to the event’s identity and its connection with Bengaluru and its wider community.
DRIVEN also continues its ‘Drive for a Cause’ initiative. The first-place cash prize is, by default, donated in the winner’s name to a registered cause or NGO, while the winner retains her trophy and recognition. Participants can also recommend causes they would like the rally to support.
Interest registration for DRIVEN 7.0 is currently open, while full race registrations are expected to open later. The rally will begin and end in Bengaluru, with the route to be announced closer to the event.
