The Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET) is set to take the Dubai Destination India Roadshow 2026 to Mumbai, Delhi and Bengaluru, bringing together 30 stakeholders from across Dubai’s tourism and business events ecosystem.
The roadshow will begin in Mumbai on August 31, followed by Delhi on September 1 and Bengaluru on September 3. Across the three cities, the delegation will engage with India’s travel trade and industry partners, strengthening business relationships and showcasing Dubai’s diverse tourism offering.
The 30-member delegation represents a broad cross-section of Dubai’s tourism ecosystem, including Emirates, leading attractions, 3-, 4- and 5-star hotels, destination management companies, medical tourism providers and Dubai Business Events (MICE).
The programme is designed to facilitate direct engagement between Dubai’s tourism partners and Indian travel trade professionals, creating opportunities to exchange market insights, strengthen partnerships and highlight the destination’s latest offerings across leisure, hospitality, business events and specialised travel segments.
India remains a key market for Dubai. In 2025, Dubai welcomed 19.59 million international overnight visitors, a 5 per cent increase over 2024, continuing the emirate’s third consecutive record-breaking year for international tourism.
The roadshow comes as Dubai continues to deepen its engagement with the Indian market. Bader Ali Habib, Regional Director of South Asia and MENA at Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism, has highlighted India’s importance to Dubai’s tourism growth, with the market extending beyond leisure travel to areas including business, investment, family travel and MICE.
Dubai’s ongoing engagement with Indian travellers and the travel trade also reflects the destination’s expanding range of experiences, from hospitality and attractions to cultural, business and lifestyle offerings. Visit Dubai continues to provide dedicated travel information and planning resources for Indian visitors.
The Dubai Destination India Roadshow 2026 will provide a platform for the delegation to connect with travel professionals across three of India’s major outbound markets, reinforcing Dubai’s long-standing relationship with the country and supporting continued collaboration between the two tourism industries.
