Monarch Liberty Hospitality has appointed marketing veteran Sneha Sharma as Vice President of Marketing. In her new role, Sharma will lead brand strategy across the group’s growing portfolio of hospitality and dining brands while contributing to its broader business vision.
With close to two decades of experience, Sharma has worked across global hospitality, FMCG, retail and entertainment. Her career includes roles with Apparel UAE, where she managed global brands such as Tim Hortons and Cold Stone Creamery, as well as senior leadership positions at Radisson, Baskin-Robbins and Massive Hospitality.
She also co-founded Gigsmith Entertainment, an experience that further strengthened her expertise in building brands from the ground up.
At Monarch Liberty Hospitality, Sharma will focus on developing distinct positioning, personality and growth strategies for brands including Que Sera Sera, TAT, Eve and Sorena. Her mandate will extend beyond traditional marketing campaigns, with a focus on consumer understanding, experience creation and closer integration between marketing, operations, sales and leadership.
Speaking about her appointment, Sneha Sharma, VP of Marketing, Monarch Liberty Hospitality, said, “This role allows me to build a portfolio that already has so much uniqueness built into it. It’s a rare canvas at this stage in my career. Monarch brings a strong entrepreneurial energy and a willingness to think differently, which matters in a market as competitive as Mumbai. I was looking for a role that brings together brand building, consumer understanding, and commercial thinking, at a scale where that experience can actually shape outcomes, and this felt like the right combination of ambition, opportunity, and timing.”
Sumit Govind Sharma, Founder & Director, Monarch Liberty Hospitality, said, “As we scale ‘Monarch Liberty Hospitality’ across new addresses and new categories, having a strong identity across each brand becomes as important as the experience itself. Sneha brings a mix of consumer insights and commercial understanding, shaped by two decades of working across very different businesses. She understands that a campaign isn’t just about visibility; it’s about giving people a reason to remember a brand and return to it. We’re confident she will bring that same rigour and imagination to how the world sees Monarch Hospitality and every brand under it.”
The appointment comes as Monarch Liberty Hospitality continues to strengthen its presence in Mumbai’s competitive dining and hospitality landscape. With the group looking to expand its portfolio of distinctive and culturally rooted concepts, Sharma’s experience across established brands and entrepreneurial ventures is expected to support the group’s next phase of growth.
Her role will focus on creating stronger emotional connections with consumers while ensuring that brand building remains closely aligned with commercial objectives and the overall guest experience.
