Pro Panja League partnered with the inaugural edition of The President’s Bodyguard (PBG) Soldierathon 2026, bringing competitive armwrestling to the sporting and patriotic event held at the Manekshaw Centre, Delhi Cantt.
The event saw participation from thousands of runners, members of the armed forces, and civilians who came together to celebrate fitness, service, and national pride.
As part of the event, Pro Panja League organised a Public Armwrestling Challenge, inviting members of the public and defence personnel to test their strength against two of the league’s top armwrestlers, Aabhas Rana and Yuvraj Verma.
To add to the excitement, Pro Panja League announced a cash prize of ₹1 lakh for anyone who could defeat either of the two champions.
The challenge attracted strong participation throughout the day, with several people stepping up to the armwrestling table in an attempt to win the prize. However, both Aabhas Rana and Yuvraj Verma remained unbeaten, showcasing their strength and technique.
The activation offered spectators an opportunity to experience the intensity and competitive spirit of armwrestling while highlighting the sport’s growing popularity across India.

Preeti Jhangiani, President of the People’s Armwrestling Federation India (PAFI), Vice-President of the Asian Armwrestling Federation (AAF), said, “The overwhelming response to the Public Armwrestling Challenge was truly heartening. Partnering with an event that honours our armed forces made this initiative even more special and we are delighted that so many participants embraced the challenge with such enthusiasm.”
The collaboration between Pro Panja League and the PBG Soldierathon 2026 brought together fitness, sport, and patriotism, while providing a platform to introduce competitive armwrestling to a wider audience.
