Six Senses Fort Barwara has appointed Burkhard Wolter as its new General Manager. With more than three decades of experience in international luxury hospitality, Wolter brings extensive expertise across Europe, Asia, the Middle East, Africa and the Caribbean.
Over the course of his career, Wolter has held leadership positions with luxury hospitality brands including Shangri-La, Four Seasons, Rosewood, Raffles, Kempinski, Oberoi Hotels & Resorts and Orient Express. His experience spans luxury resorts, heritage hotels, city properties, cruise ships and boutique hospitality ventures.
In his new role, Wolter will oversee the overall operations of Six Senses Fort Barwara. His focus will be on enhancing guest experiences, supporting host development, strengthening sustainability initiatives and further establishing the resort as one of India’s leading wellness destinations.
