Grammy-nominated kirtan icon Krishna Das is set to return to India with a five-city tour across October and November 2026. Produced and presented by Team Innovation Cultural, the tour follows the overwhelming response to his previous India performances and will bring his signature devotional music experience to audiences across the country.
Often referred to by The New York Times as the “chant master of American Yoga,” Krishna Das has spent more than three decades introducing ancient Indian spiritual traditions to global audiences through his unique blend of kirtan and contemporary musical influences. His upcoming India tour promises an immersive live experience rooted in devotion, music, and community.
The tour will begin in New Delhi on October 23, followed by performances in Mumbai on October 25, Pune on October 30, Ahmedabad on November 1, and conclude in Bengaluru on November 4, 2026.
Each event will feature a 2.5-hour kirtan performance centred around the traditional practice of call-and-response chanting of sacred Sanskrit mantras. Designed as a participatory musical and meditative experience rather than a conventional concert, the performances will focus on creating a shared sense of connection through collective singing and acoustic resonance. No prior experience or spiritual background is required to attend.
