The Event and Entertainment Management Association (EEMA) has announced that EEMAGINE 2026, its flagship annual convention, will be held from 7–9 August 2026 at ITC Grand Chola, Chennai.
Recognised as one of the most influential gatherings for India’s experience economy, the convention will bring together industry leaders, entrepreneurs, innovators, policymakers, and decision-makers from the events, entertainment, experiential marketing, and live communications sectors.
The 2026 edition is expected to welcome over 1,000 delegates from India and overseas, representing event agencies, experiential marketing firms, hospitality brands, destination partners, venues, artists, production specialists, technology providers, and corporate organisations.
This year’s host city, Chennai, has been selected in recognition of South India’s growing role in the experience economy. With its cultural heritage, business ecosystem, tourism potential, and infrastructure, the city will serve as the backdrop for discussions on the future of experiences in India.
The convention will feature keynote sessions, panel discussions, workshops, and masterclasses led by industry experts and global thought leaders. Topics on the agenda include artificial intelligence, sustainability, destination development, live entertainment, experiential marketing, intellectual property, and audience engagement.
A key highlight of EEMAGINE 2026 will be the release of industry white papers, research insights, and strategic recommendations aimed at supporting the long-term growth of India’s experience economy.
