Red Dot Representations has partnered with Sri Lanka-based destination management company Walkers Tours Limited to strengthen outbound tourism from Gujarat to Sri Lanka. As part of the partnership, Red Dot will provide sales and marketing support for Walkers Tours in Ahmedabad and across the Gujarat market.
The announcement coincides with FitsAir’s launch of its direct passenger service between Ahmedabad and Colombo. Operating three times a week, the new route offers travellers from Gujarat easier access to Sri Lanka for leisure holidays, MICE, destination weddings and experiential travel.
As part of the initiative, City of Dreams Sri Lanka, Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts, Walkers Tours and FitsAir have come together to promote Sri Lanka as a complete travel destination. The collaboration aims to offer Indian travellers integrated travel experiences, including luxury stays, curated itineraries, cultural attractions, beaches, wildlife and culinary experiences.
The direct air connectivity is expected to reduce travel time and make Sri Lanka more accessible for both leisure and corporate travellers. Red Dot Representations will also leverage its travel trade network to increase awareness of the destination and support travel partners through dedicated sales and marketing initiatives.
