SkyDome is set to introduce India’s first permanent purpose-built immersive event dome, creating a new category of celebration infrastructure designed for weddings, corporate events, exhibitions, entertainment, and cultural experiences. The venue combines large-format architecture, programmable 360-degree projection technology, and flexible event infrastructure to deliver immersive environments that can be transformed instantly to suit different event formats.

Located in Kukas along Jaipur’s luxury hospitality corridor, SkyDome has been designed as a permanent venue capable of hosting destination weddings, brand launches, conferences, exhibitions, musical performances, and public events without relying on temporary infrastructure. The venue features a 60-metre (200-foot) diameter dome standing 21 metres (69 feet) high, with a floor area of approximately 30,000 square feet and an internal volume of 1.22 million cubic feet.

The immersive venue is powered by programmable 360-degree projection mapping using 17 Christie laser projectors rated at 50,000 lumens each, enabling clients to transform the interior into a variety of themed environments. Event organisers can select from a curated library of immersive experiences or commission bespoke projection environments and presentations developed by SkyDome’s in-house creative studio.

SkyDome has been built using intelligent air membrane technology, creating a seamless architectural envelope rather than a conventional tent or truss-based structure. According to the project details, the air-supported structure provides a continuous projection surface without visible ribs or framework while offering approximately 86% soundproofing through a double-membrane acoustic system. The structure is flame-retardant, designed to withstand temperatures ranging from -30°C to +70°C and wind speeds between 80 and 120 km/h. It also incorporates seven entry portals and one loading dock to support large-scale event operations.

The development extends beyond the dome itself and includes approximately 30,000 square feet of landscaped outdoor lawns featuring experiential walkways, water features and monolith stone steps. An additional 20,000 square feet has been allocated for back-of-house operations, including preparation areas and food and beverage support facilities for large events. Together, the indoor and outdoor spaces can accommodate events ranging from approximately 600 to more than 2,000 guests, depending on configuration.

Designed to support a wide range of events, SkyDome is targeting destination weddings, corporate events, exhibitions, trade shows, entertainment productions, cultural performances and ticketed musical experiences. The venue has been conceived to provide planners, brands and families with a permanent immersive environment capable of delivering experiences beyond the limitations of traditional event venues.
The project is strategically located in Kukas, one of India’s leading luxury wedding destinations, positioning it within Jaipur’s Amer hospitality corridor. The venue is within 15 minutes of several luxury hotels, including ITC Mementos, Taj Amer, Le Méridien, Fairmont Jaipur, The Leela Palace Jaipur and Rajasthali Resort, allowing organisers to accommodate guests across multiple nearby properties.

SkyDome’s master plan incorporates landscaped arrival zones, dedicated drop-off areas, parking facilities, office space, washrooms and supporting infrastructure to facilitate high-capacity events. The project also features landscaped pathways, water bodies, gardens and open lawns that integrate with the immersive dome to create a complete event destination.

According to the project presentation, SkyDome represents a new form of experiential real estate, combining architecture, immersive technology and hospitality infrastructure into a permanent venue purpose-built for large-scale celebrations and live experiences. The development is being delivered by a team with more than 30 years of expertise spanning events, venue management, hospitality and experiential technology.
