Niva Bupa Health Insurance has announced its association as the Official Health Insurance Principal Partner of the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games. To mark the partnership, the company has launched its new campaign, “Setback se Comeback Tak,” celebrating resilience, recovery and the journey of overcoming health setbacks.
The campaign highlights the stories of individuals who recover from illnesses, accidents and major medical procedures, drawing parallels with athletes who return stronger after setbacks. It features Olympic medallists Saina Nehwal and Mirabai Chanu, showcasing how recovery and determination are central to success both in sports and everyday life.
According to the company, it has supported customers through more than 37 lakh claims worth nearly ₹14,000 crore over the past five financial years, reinforcing its focus on enabling recovery and holistic healthcare.
Speaking on the partnership, Nimish Agrawal, Director – Digital Business Unit & Chief Marketing Officer, Niva Bupa Health Insurance, said, “Our association as the Official Health Insurance Principal Partner of Glasgow 2026 reflects what Niva Bupa stands for—the confidence to come back stronger after a health setback: Zindagi Ko Claim Kar Le. Every athlete competing in Glasgow has overcome adversity—an injury, a defeat or moments of self-doubt. The medal is only the final chapter; the real story lies in the setback, the recovery and the determination to come back stronger. That’s the spirit we celebrate. Every day, we witness the same resilience in the lives of our customers as they overcome major surgeries, accidents and critical illnesses to return to the people and moments that matter most. Through our campaign, ‘Setback se Comeback Tak’, we celebrate these inspiring journeys and reaffirm our belief that quality healthcare and the right support system empower people to recover with confidence and reclaim their lives.”
Sharing her thoughts on the campaign, Saina Nehwal, Olympic medallist and former World No. 1 badminton player, said, “People often remember the medals and the victories, but every athlete knows that the toughest battles are fought away from the spotlight. Injuries test not only your body but also your confidence and patience. Recovery demands discipline, belief and the right support around you. That’s why this campaign resonates deeply with me—it reminds people that every comeback begins long before you step back onto the court. Recovery is where champions are truly made.”
The campaign will be promoted across digital and social media platforms in the lead-up to the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games, with a focus on encouraging conversations around health preparedness, recovery and resilience.
