Maharashtra Tourism has come on board as the Presenting Partner for the 17th edition of WOW Awards Asia, reinforcing the state’s vision to position Maharashtra as India’s leading destination for tourism, MICE, destination weddings, and experiential events.
Scheduled to be held on 3rd and 4th July 2026 at the Jio World Convention Centre, Mumbai, WOW Awards Asia stands as Asia’s largest recognition and business platform for the experiential marketing, MICE, live entertainment, hospitality and wedding industries. The event is expected to draw over 6,000 delegates from more than 25 countries across various fields, bringing together key decision-makers from tourism, hospitality, events, entertainment, marketing, destination management, and technology.

Through this association, Maharashtra Tourism aims to highlight the state’s world-class convention infrastructure, luxury hospitality, rich cultural heritage and diverse tourism offerings to a highly influential global audience. It also creates opportunities to engage directly with event professionals, corporate decision-makers, wedding planners, hospitality leaders, destination experts, and international buyers, while showcasing Maharashtra as a preferred destination for business events, leisure travel, and destination weddings.
The 17th edition of WOW Awards Asia will recognise excellence across 106 award categories, evaluated by more than 100 industry leaders. Beyond the awards, the platform will feature a two-day business convention with keynote sessions, panel discussions, masterclasses and networking forums, alongside the WOW Expo, which will bring together tourism boards, destinations, hospitality brands, event technology companies and experiential solution providers.
The event will also host the Experiential CMO Awards and present its annual recognitions, including 35 Under 35, Women of the Year, Entertainers Connect, Event Managers A-List and the Wedding Power List, celebrating the individuals shaping the future of the experiential industry.
