Indian hip-hop artist Badshah has reached the 5th position among global hip-hop artists on YouTube, according to data compiled by music analytics platform Chartmasters. He has recorded approximately 26,175,269,730 total YouTube views.
The ranking places Badshah alongside international hip-hop artists including Drake, Eminem, Nicki Minaj, and Lil Wayne. He is the only Indian artist currently featured in the top five of the hip-hop category list.
Chartmasters’ broader listing of the “1,000 Most-Viewed Artists on YouTube (Hip-Hop)” also includes other Indian artists such as the late Sidhu Moosewala and Karan Aujla within the top 50 positions.
Badshah, who has been active in the music industry for around 20 years, has accumulated over 26.1 billion YouTube views and more than 25 billion combined streams across digital platforms. His catalog includes over 150 music releases. He currently has over 100 million listeners across streaming platforms, with around 19.9 million monthly listeners on Spotify.
Within the Indian hip-hop category, he continues to be among the most-streamed artists, alongside names such as Yo Yo Honey Singh, AP Dhillon, Karan Aujla, Shubh, Hanumankind, Talwiinder, and Dhanda Nyoliwala. Across India’s overall streaming landscape, he is listed among the most-streamed artists on YouTube across genres.
In recent releases, Badshah has issued singles including “Tum Yun Mile Ho,” “Ban Ja Tu,” “Tateeree,” and “Delhi Se Manali.” These tracks are part of his upcoming studio album.
According to associated announcements, the upcoming project features collaborations with emerging artists including Reet Talwar, Charan Preet, Simran Jaglan, Sirazee, and Manju Nautiyal. The music videos for these releases have been filmed across various locations in India, showcasing different regional settings.
