Virgin Music Group (VMG), the world’s leading partner to independent artists, labels and entrepreneurs, has announced a global distribution partnership with acclaimed Gujarati folk artist Rajesh Ahir. The agreement covers both Rajesh Ahir’s future releases and his complete existing music catalogue.
The partnership marks a significant milestone in Rajesh Ahir’s musical journey and aims to bring Gujarati creativity, storytelling, and musical excellence to audiences across the world.

Hailing from Dhaneti village in Kutch, Gujarat, Rajesh Ahir is a renowned Gujarati folk singer, musician, and performing artist. He is widely recognised for his contributions to Gujarati folk and devotional music through popular songs including Maan Na Mohanji, Dwarika Ni Sheriye, Kana Ne Makhan Bhave, Aavje Mogal, and Mava Tari Murti. Known for blending the rich traditions of Kutch and Gujarati folk music with contemporary influences, Rajesh continues to preserve the region’s cultural heritage while connecting with younger audiences.
