Priya Malik Announces 21-City Farewell Tour for Acclaimed Poetry Show ‘Ishq Hai’

Award-winning poet, storyteller and actor Priya Malik has announced the final chapter of her acclaimed solo musical storytelling and poetry show, Ishq Hai. Following successful performances across India and sold-out shows in Australia, Canada and the United Kingdom, the production will now embark on its most extensive India tour to date.

Presented by Oriole Entertainment and Tape A Tale, Ishq Hai – The Final Chapter India Tour will travel across 21 cities, bringing the celebrated live experience to several new audiences for the first time. The tour begins on 27 June 2026 and will cover cities including Lucknow, Varanasi, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Bhopal, Jabalpur, Ludhiana, Amritsar, Vadodara, Ahmedabad, Surat, Pune, Mumbai, Agra, Noida, Kolkata, Guwahati and Siliguri before concluding in September.

Over the years, Ishq Hai has carved a unique space in India’s live arts landscape by blending spoken word poetry, storytelling and live music. The show explores themes of love, nostalgia, heartbreak, longing and hope, creating an intimate experience that resonates deeply with audiences.

At the heart of the performance are Priya Malik’s most loved poems, accompanied by live music from singer-songwriter Tanmay Maheshwari. Together, they create an evening that reflects on memories of a simpler time while connecting with contemporary audiences.

Speaking about the farewell tour, Priya Malik said, “’Ishq Hai’ is not just a show. It is a love letter to a time that no longer exists, written in the hope that someone will feel less alone in missing it. The Final Chapter India Tour is both a final goodbye for longtime fans who have grown alongside the show, and an invitation for new audiences to experience its magic before it takes its final bow.”

Often regarded as one of the most distinctive voices in contemporary spoken word poetry, Priya Malik has built a strong following through her work across Hindi, Urdu and English. Her performances explore relationships, emotions and everyday experiences with a deeply personal yet relatable style.

Joining her on stage throughout the tour is Tanmay Maheshwari, whose music is inspired by the melodic traditions of Hindi cinema. His live performances add another emotional layer to the storytelling experience, helping bring the world of Ishq Hai to life.

As the show prepares for its final journey across India, audiences will have one last opportunity to experience a production that has become a beloved part of the country’s contemporary poetry and storytelling scene.
