Percept ICE Brings Quantum Couture to Life at the GJEPC Artisan Awards 2026

Percept ICE, the experiential marketing, event management, exhibitions, and brand activations company of Percept Limited, conceptualised and executed the GJEPC Artisan Awards 2026 at the Jio World Convention Centre on April 8, 2026. The event brought together over 200 guests, including industry leaders, designers, and jewellery professionals, for an evening celebrating innovation, craftsmanship, and design excellence.

Organised by the Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC), the Artisan Awards is one of the industry’s most prestigious platforms, recognising outstanding jewellery design while nurturing emerging talent through mentorships, internships, and industry opportunities.

The 2026 edition was themed “Quantum Couture – Re-Engineering Beauty and Cultural Codes,” curated by futurist Paola De Luca. The theme explored the fusion of traditional Indian craftsmanship with technology, AI, and sustainable materials through three sub-themes—Embroidery, Micro-Painting, and Poetic Layers.

Percept ICE managed the event from concept to execution, transforming the venue into an immersive experience inspired by the theme. Through thoughtful spatial design, scenography, lighting, stage aesthetics, and content, each sub-theme was brought to life, creating a seamless journey that blended heritage with innovation.

The evening was attended by prominent names from the global jewellery and luxury industry, including Lucia Silvestri, Paola De Luca, and Farah Khan Ali. Industry leaders such as Kirit Bhansali, Amit Pratihari, Sachin Jain, Shaunak Parikh, Ashish Borda, and Sabyasachi Ray also addressed the audience during the awards ceremony.

Said Vidya Alva, Chief Operating Officer, Percept ICE, said, “The Artisan Awards 2026 stands as a celebration of design at its most transformative. At Percept ICE, we are deeply proud to have conceptualised and brought to life an experience that translated ‘Quantum Couture’ into a seamless expression of artistry, innovation, and cultural nuance. Every element, from spatial storytelling and scenography to the interplay of light, texture, and form, was meticulously crafted to create an immersive, refined environment. More than an event, it was a cohesive design narrative that honoured heritage while embracing the future, culminating in a sensorial, globally resonant showcase that was sophisticated, evocative, and elevated in every detail.”

With the successful execution of the GJEPC Artisan Awards 2026, Percept ICE once again showcased its expertise in delivering large-scale luxury experiences that combine creativity, storytelling, and technology to create memorable events.
