India Rising: Road to EWC, the gaming and youth culture festival launched by JioBLAST and the Esports Foundation (EF), has announced District by Zomato as the official ticketing partner for its upcoming Gaming Festival in Mumbai. The event is set to take place on July 4, 2026, at the Jio World Convention Centre, with tickets now available exclusively through the District app.
Positioned as a celebration of India’s rapidly expanding gaming ecosystem, the festival will bring together competitive gaming, creators, music, fan experiences, and live entertainment under one roof. Attendees can look forward to gaming showmatches across VALORANT and MOBA Legends: 5v5!, creator showcases, cosplay experiences, interactive gaming zones, fan engagement activities, and live performances.
Several of India’s leading gaming personalities are expected to participate, including Mortal and JokerKiHaveli from S8UL, along with ZGOD and Mizo from GodLike Esports. The festival aims to offer fans a unique opportunity to interact with some of the country’s most popular gaming creators.
Speaking on the partnership, Charlie Cowdrey, CEO, JioBLAST, said, “India Rising: Road to EWC is being built as much more than a tournament. Our vision is to create a festival where gaming, esports, creators, music and community come together in one place. Whether you’re coming to support a player, meet your favourite creators, watch esports competitions, experience live music or simply celebrate gaming culture, it has something for every fan. Partnering with District by Zomato helps us make that experience accessible to gaming audiences across the country.”
A key highlight of the event will be the India Rising: Road to EWC Chess LAN Finals, where Indian Grandmaster Vidit Gujrathi and Dutch Grandmaster Benjamin Bok will compete for a coveted place in the Esports World Cup 2026 Chess competition in Paris.
India Rising: Road to EWC is being developed as a long-term flagship platform linked to the Esports World Cup ecosystem, creating opportunities for Indian players, creators, and fans while strengthening connections across the gaming community through competition and live experiences.
