Mumbai-based venture The Experience Edit has officially launched, positioning itself as India’s first immersive experience IP company. Founded by creative and business leaders Khushbu Vaid, Riyaz Sayed, and Sapangeet Rajwant, the company aims to create and scale original live experience formats designed to leave a lasting impact on audiences.

Unlike traditional event management companies that focus on execution, The Experience Edit is built around the concept of ownership and intellectual property. The company’s vision is to develop immersive formats that can be expanded across markets and audiences while maintaining cultural relevance and emotional resonance.
Its portfolio will span large-scale festivals, immersive pop-up worlds, cultural journeys, wellness retreats, intimate gatherings, culinary experiences, and other experiential formats. Each property is designed with a focus on creating meaningful engagement rather than one-time attendance.
Speaking about the launch, Riyaz Sayed, Co-Founder, said, “The experience economy is one of the fastest-growing sectors globally, yet ownable IP within it remains almost nonexistent. Most players are focused on delivery. We are focused on ownership. When you build an experience with the discipline of a format, you are not creating an event — you are creating an asset.”
Highlighting the company’s creative philosophy, Khushbu Vaid, Co-Founder, said, “The best experiences don’t feel produced. They feel inevitable — like someone understood exactly what you needed before you did. That is the standard we hold ourselves to. Not ‘did it run smoothly?’ but ‘did it change something in them?’”
Speaking about the larger vision behind the venture, Sapangeet Rajwant, Co-Founder, said, “There is no shortage of events in the world. There is a deep shortage of experiences that truly stay with people. We built The Experience Edit because we believe the world is ready for a new category: experience IPs that originate from India and belong everywhere.”
With its focus on creating proprietary experience-led formats, The Experience Edit seeks to establish a new category within the live experiences industry, building concepts that can evolve from local experiences into globally scalable brands.
The Founders
Collectively, the three founders bring expertise across creative direction, live experiences, large-scale production, operations, and business strategy — a combination of creative vision and operational rigour that the company’s model demands. The venture was built on a shared conviction: that audiences worldwide are no longer satisfied with passive participation. They want to be surprised, moved, and marked.
