Colgate-Palmolive has appointed Ram Raghavan as its new Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), marking a significant milestone in his distinguished global career with the company.
Announcing the development, Raghavan shared that he is “deeply honored and thrilled” to take on the role. Over the course of his career, he has worked across Asia Pacific, North America, and Latin America, most recently leading the company’s Enterprise Oral Care division.
Reflecting on his journey, Raghavan highlighted how his diverse experiences across global markets have reinforced the power of strong brands in driving both short-term business performance and long-term growth.
As CMO, he will oversee the marketing strategy for Colgate-Palmolive’s extensive portfolio, which includes globally recognized brands such as Colgate, Hill’s Pet Nutrition, Palmolive, elmex, Suavitel, Fabuloso, and EltaMD.
Raghavan expressed his enthusiasm about partnering with teams across the world to further strengthen the company’s brands and evolve its marketing function to support Colgate-Palmolive’s strategic growth ambitions.
With his extensive international experience and deep understanding of brand building, Raghavan is set to play a key role in shaping the next phase of growth for Colgate-Palmolive and its iconic portfolio.
