Artist Managers Association of India Concludes 3rd General Election; New Leadership Team Announced

The Artist Managers Association of India (AMAI) has concluded its 3rd General Election, appointing a new leadership team that aims to strengthen and further organise India’s artist management industry at both national and international levels.

As India’s entertainment and live events sector continues to expand globally, the newly elected committee stated that its focus will be on institutional development, professional accountability, industry collaboration, and long-term growth within the artist management ecosystem.

The newly elected office bearers include President Jignesh Shah, Founder and Director at TMC Talent Manager Company Pvt Ltd; General Secretary Shashi Bokkadia, Director at Moksh Events Pvt Ltd; and Treasurer Abhishek Dixit, Managing Director at Version Next Entertainment.

Established to create a unified platform for artist managers across India, AMAI has been working towards promoting ethical business practices, protecting professional interests, encouraging collaboration, and improving transparency within the entertainment industry.

The association’s broader objective is to build a more organised and professionally aligned artist management sector capable of representing Indian talent and management standards internationally.

Under the new leadership, AMAI plans to focus on professional accountability, structured industry discussions, stronger member participation, dispute resolution, knowledge sharing, and the development of industry best practices.

Addressing members and industry stakeholders after the election, President Jignesh Shah said, “AMAI is a bridge between artists and managers. However, the responsibility of the association today extends far beyond representation. We are entering an important phase for the Indian entertainment industry, and this is the time to build stronger systems, encourage ethical and transparent business practices, and create an ecosystem where professionalism is expected. Indian artists today are receiving global recognition. It is equally important that Indian artist managers and management companies establish themselves as respected professionals through structure, credibility, and collective progress. The intention of this committee is not merely to discuss challenges, but to work towards practical and implementable solutions that strengthen the industry for every genuine stakeholder.”

The newly elected committee is expected to work towards improving institutional credibility, encouraging healthier professional relationships within the entertainment fraternity, supporting ethical business practices, and building a more cohesive artist management community across India.

With its new leadership in place, the Artist Managers Association of India now enters a new phase focused on building a stronger and more professionally structured future for India’s artist management industry.
