Consulate General of India, Sydney partnered with Australia India Travel & Tourism Council (AITTC) to organise a business seminar titled ‘Tourism in India’ on May 20, 2026, at the Consulate in Sydney.
The seminar brought together Australian tour operators, airline representatives, travel operators, local media, tourism industry speakers, and travel writers to discuss opportunities within India’s tourism sector and promote inbound tourism to the country.
The event witnessed participation from more than 70 delegates representing the tourism and allied industries, highlighting growing interest in strengthening travel and tourism ties between India and Australia.
The seminar also served as a platform for industry stakeholders to engage in discussions around India’s tourism offerings, travel experiences, and opportunities for collaboration within the tourism ecosystem.
