Samsung Elevates Shrish Agarwal as Head of Marketing for MX Business in India

Samsung has elevated Shrish Agarwal as the Head of Marketing for its entire MX (Mobile Experience) business in India, expanding his responsibilities beyond the company’s premium and flagship smartphone portfolio.

In his earlier role, Agarwal led marketing for Samsung’s premium and flagship devices segment in the country. With his new mandate, he will now oversee integrated marketing strategies across Samsung’s broader MX portfolio, including smartphones, wearables, and connected ecosystem products.

The elevation comes at a time when Samsung is strengthening its focus on the mobile experience business amid increasing competition in the premium smartphone and connected devices segment. In his expanded role, Agarwal will focus on strengthening brand positioning and driving cohesive marketing strategies across categories under the MX umbrella.

Agarwal brings over two years of leadership experience within Samsung India’s marketing division, where he has worked across brand management, marketing strategy, and large-scale campaigns designed to deliver business impact. He also carries more than a decade of experience in strategic marketing and communications.

Prior to joining Samsung, Agarwal worked with Panasonic India, handling marketing communications and brand positioning initiatives. His professional journey also includes roles at Hewlett-Packard India and Times Internet, where he gained experience across brand strategy, media planning, and marketing communications.
