Razorpay has announced the elevation of Apuarv Sethi to the role of Chief Marketing Officer (CMO).
In his new role, Apuarv will lead Razorpay’s marketing and SME business growth strategy across India and Southeast Asia. He will focus on AI-powered marketing initiatives and oversee the company’s broader go-to-market strategy, ecosystem initiatives, revenue acceleration and growth frameworks across geographies and product lines.
Apuarv joined Razorpay in April 2021 as Vice President of Marketing and has played a key role in shaping the company’s brand and SME growth strategy. Most recently, as Senior Vice President – Marketing, he led brand strategy, product marketing, performance marketing, communications and customer engagement initiatives across multiple business segments.
With close to two decades of experience, Apuarv has worked across fintech, SaaS, eCommerce and education sectors. Prior to joining Razorpay, he held leadership positions at Flipkart, Mindtree and Manipal Global Education Services.
