Jharkhand State Cricket Association and SJ Uplift Kabaddi Pvt Ltd have announced an addendum to the Official Franchise Bidding Document for the inaugural season of the Jharkhand T20 Cricket League, extending the franchise bid submission deadline.
The bid window, which was originally scheduled to close on May 11, 2026, has now been extended to May 15, 2026, at 11:59 PM IST. The announcement was jointly issued by JSCA, the governing body for cricket in Jharkhand and owner of the league, along with SJ Uplift Kabaddi, the authorised league organiser.
The extension aims to provide interested investors with additional time to complete registration, KYC formalities, and bid submissions through the league’s official portal.
According to the organisers, the decision follows strong interest from prospective franchise owners from Jharkhand and other regions. The extension is intended to ensure that all eligible bidders receive a fair opportunity to participate in the bidding process before the final deadline.
The revised timeline states that the bid window, which opened on May 7, 2026, at 10:00 AM IST, will now remain active until May 15, 2026, at 11:59 PM IST.
The organisers also confirmed that all other bid terms and conditions remain unchanged as outlined in the Official Franchise Bidding Document.
