BajajCapital Insurance has appointed Anuj Saraf as Senior Vice President and Head – Marketing. In this role, Saraf will lead the company’s brand strategy, digital marketing and digital transformation initiatives, with a focus on strengthening BCI’s positioning as a trusted insurance partner for individuals and businesses across India.
Saraf brings over a decade of experience in brand building and strategic marketing across insurance and consumer-facing sectors. He joins BajajCapital Insurance from ITW Universe, where he led brand and strategy consulting mandates, advising a diverse client portfolio and driving integrated marketing initiatives end-to-end. Before this, he was Deputy General Manager, Marketing at ACKO, where he led brand, category, and growth charters across motor and health insurance.
Earlier in his career, he worked with brands including Xiaomi India and Emami, gaining strong experience across brand building, media strategy, and consumer engagement.
Venkatesh Naidu, CEO, BajajCapital Insurance, said, “The insurance industry today doesn’t have an access problem; it has a trust and comprehension gap. As brokers, we operate right at that intersection, helping customers make sense of choices that often feel complex. For us, marketing goes beyond campaigns; it’s about bridging product complexity with customer clarity. Anuj brings a strong blend of consumer insight and execution experience across new-age insurance and consumer ecosystems.”
Commenting on his appointment, Saraf said, “At this juncture of my career, I am looking forward to building an AI-First Marketing Culture & Approach, and am very excited to join Bajaj Capital Insurance, a brand that has earned its place as a cornerstone of financial trust in India. My focus is to apply my cross-sector experience to create a marketing engine that is data-driven, precise, and purposeful.”
