Arena Animation, a training brand of Aptech, recently hosted its Alumni Meet in Bengaluru, bringing together professionals from across the creative and digital industries to celebrate its three-decade journey in shaping talent for the AVGC-XR sector.
The event saw participation from over 100 attendees, including alumni working in leading studios and organisations across animation, visual effects, gaming, UI/UX, and extended reality domains. The gathering served as a platform for networking, knowledge exchange, and celebrating the professional achievements of graduates who are now contributing to major creative and tech-driven companies.
Prominent alumni present at the meet included professionals holding key roles in organisations such as 88 Pictures, Dentsu, Myntra, DNEG, and Rockstar Games. Their presence highlighted the strong footprint Arena Animation graduates have established across diverse segments of the global creative ecosystem.
The Bengaluru edition marks the beginning of a wider alumni engagement initiative that will be rolled out across multiple cities in India. The programme aims to strengthen industry connections, recognise alumni achievements, and build a more collaborative creative network.
During the event, Arena Animation also introduced new initiatives focused on future-ready learning, including Arena Animation Originals, an IP development platform designed to encourage students and alumni to create original content. The initiative aligns with the growing demand for homegrown intellectual property and leverages emerging technologies such as virtual production and digital content creation.
The alumni meet also featured discussions on evolving industry trends, emerging technologies, and changing career pathways in the AVGC-XR sector. Alumni shared experiences from their professional journeys, offering insights into industry expectations and opportunities for aspiring creators.
With Bengaluru continuing to be a key hub for technology and innovation, the event reinforces Arena Animation’s long-standing role in developing skilled professionals who contribute to both India’s and the global creative economy.
