Sachin Malhotra has been appointed Multi-Property General Manager for Kochi Marriott Hotel, Courtyard by Marriott Kochi Airport, and Port Muziris, Kochi – A Tribute Portfolio Hotel.
Sachin is a passionate hospitality professional with over two decades of experience, Malhotra has worked across leading hotel organisations such as Hyatt International, The Leela, and Accor. He brings a strong understanding of revenue and sales management, hotel operations, and evolving guest expectations across both mature and emerging markets.
Malhotra joined Marriott International in 2021 as Hotel Manager at Fairfield by Marriott Lucknow. He was promoted to General Manager in 2022 and went on to receive the APEC Leadership Excellence Award 2023 for his contribution to the hotel’s success, including strong market share growth and overall performance.
In 2024, he took on the role of General Manager at Kochi Marriott Hotel, where he successfully repositioned the property as a premium destination for urban travellers. His familiarity with the Kochi market is expected to further strengthen Marriott’s brand presence across the city in his expanded role.
