Housekeepers Synergy – 4.0, organized by PRISTAL in collaboration with the Professional Housekeepers Association (PHA) Karnataka Chapter, was successfully held on March 21, 2026, at Hotel Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Bengaluru. The event brought together hospitality professionals for meaningful discussions, knowledge sharing, and insights into the evolving housekeeping landscape.
The program began with registrations, followed by a welcome address and invocation, setting the tone for the day. The ceremonial lamp lighting marked the official inauguration in the presence of key industry leaders, including Kadambari Sabharwal Talwar, Jayashree Nagaraj, Babita Butola, Alvin Kwah, and Naveen Midha.
Smitha Mohan delivered the welcome address, followed by a presentation by Babita Butola, who also invited attendees to the upcoming 8th National Housekeepers Convention and 11th PHA Anniversary scheduled for May 30, 2026, in New Delhi.
The highlight of the event was the panel discussion on “Sustainable Laundry Solutions for the Future of Housekeeping,” moderated by the Chief Guest. The panel featured industry experts including Srinivas Rao, Lakshmi Kondaswamy, Naveen Midha, Yeow Min Kwah, and Karthick Arumugam. The discussion focused on sustainable practices, efficient resource management, and the role of innovation in modern laundry operations.
Jayashree Nagaraj emphasized the importance of structured linen management, accurate inventory practices, and involving laundry partners in procurement decisions to improve quality and sustainability. She also highlighted the need for environmentally friendly products tailored to the Indian market. Her insights on testing, research, training, and audits were well received by Naveen Midha.
During the event, Bharat Pristal India showcased its advanced laundry solutions, allowing attendees to explore new innovations. An interactive quiz added an engaging element, followed by a felicitation ceremony recognizing panelists, general managers, members, and contributors to the industry.
A special recognition was awarded to Dhirain, Secretary – PHA YUVA Board Karnataka, for his dedication and active participation. He was felicitated in the presence of Jayashree Nagaraj, Sandhya, and Smitha Mohan.
The event saw participation from around 56 industry professionals across hospitality, healthcare, and aviation sectors, encouraging valuable exchanges of ideas and best practices.
