The National Basketball Association (NBA) and Budweiser India have announced the return of BUDX NBA House to India, following its successful debut in Mumbai last year. The highly anticipated interactive fan experience will take place on May 9 and 10, 2026, at Bharat Mandapam, Exhibition Hall No. 6, in New Delhi, coinciding with the 2026 NBA Playoffs.
Designed as a celebration of basketball, music, and culture, this year’s BUDX NBA House promises an expanded lineup of immersive experiences for fans aged 16 and above. Attendees can look forward to on-court basketball activities, live performances by international and Indian artists, and exclusive meet-and-greet sessions with NBA legends, including two-time champion Isiah Thomas and four-time All-Star DeMarcus Cousins.
The event will also feature BUDX Masterclasses—expert-led workshops and panel discussions curated by Budweiser—aimed at engaging emerging artists, DJs, and fans. Additional highlights include a 3-on-3 celebrity basketball game, streetwear showcases, photo opportunities with the iconic Larry O’Brien Trophy, and energetic performances by the Sacramento Kings mascot Slamson, the Kings Dancers, and the Kings dunk team. Notably, the Kings—who played in the first NBA games held in India in 2019—will be participating in BUDX NBA House for the second consecutive year.
Rajah Chaudhry, NBA India Country Head, said, “Hosting BUDX NBA House in New Delhi for the first time marks an exciting next step in our continued efforts to engage fans across India in new and creative ways. The response in Mumbai last year showcased the incredible passion for basketball in the country, and experiences like this are our way of celebrating that community in a meaningful way. We look forward to returning with an expanded edition where fans can come together to celebrate the excitement of the NBA Playoffs, meet legends of the game, and experience the music and fashion that define NBA culture in India.”
Vineet Sharma, Vice President, Marketing & Trade Marketing, AB InBev India said, “After witnessing the phenomenal response to the first-ever BUDX NBA House in Mumbai, we’re excited to bring an elevated and more immersive edition to fans in New Delhi. As India’s No.1 premium beer brand, we have always been at the forefront of culture, shaping conversations across music, sport, and entertainment for young audiences. Together with the NBA, this year’s showcase builds further on that momentum by offering fans an expanded cultural experience – one that blends the thrill of basketball with the music, culture and creative energy that defines today’s generation. As part of our ‘In the Hands of Fans’ narrative, we are deepening our commitment to building fan-first ecosystems that strengthen the connection between people and the sports they love. At its core, the belief is simple: sport belongs to its fans. Through platforms like BUDX NBA House, we’re translating that belief into a scalable strategy – one that puts fans at the center of the energy, creativity and culture surrounding the game.”
Last year’s edition of BUDX NBA House in Mumbai attracted more than 6,000 fans over two days, underlining the growing popularity of basketball culture in India. The NBA has previously hosted NBA House events across global markets including Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, Mexico, the U.S., and the UK, and is set to debut the experience in Australia later this year.
