The RP Sanjiv Goenka Group has appointed Preeti Misra as the Head of Events – Fortune India & Open Media, effective March 2026. Based in Gurugram, she will lead the experiential marketing and event strategy for the group’s premier media brands.
In her new role, Preeti will focus on building high-impact thought leadership platforms and delivering integrated brand experiences that strengthen audience engagement and industry influence for Fortune India and Open Media.
Preeti brings with her over 25 years of experience as a marketing and communications leader. Prior to this appointment, she served as Senior General Manager at India Today, where she led several large-scale event initiatives.
Her career also includes a five-year stint at Laqshya Media Group as General Manager – North, where she handled P&L responsibilities and managed key clients such as Google, Hero MotoCorp, and Tech Mahindra.
Earlier, during her tenure at Times Internet, she played a key role in bringing global thought leaders like Michael Porter, Philip Kotler, and Stephen Covey to India.
With deep expertise in experiential marketing, celebrity management, and both B2B and B2C service delivery, Preeti is set to lead the events mandate for Fortune India, further strengthening its position as a platform for impactful business conversations and experiences.
