The first edition of the UN40 Music Festival concluded successfully at NICE Grounds in Bengaluru, drawing close to 18,000 attendees over two days for a vibrant celebration of music, comedy, food and interactive experiences.
Conceptualised by Saregama’s live events division Saregama Live, UN40 aimed to go beyond the traditional concert format by creating an immersive festival environment where the experience extended across the venue.
Along with live artist performances, the festival featured creator-led comedy sets, interactive games, gaming zones and curated food stalls. A buzzing beer garden hosted the FilterCopy pre-game party, while creator performances and pop-up activities kept the energy high throughout the venue.
The musical line-up across both days featured a diverse mix of artists including Aditya Rikhari, Shalmali Kholgade, Paradox, Pragati Nagpal, Raja Kumari, Thaikkudam Bridge, Paal Dabba and Maahi, among others.
Day 1 of the festival culminated in a high-energy headline performance by Himesh Reshammiya, who had the crowd singing along to several of his most popular tracks. On Day 2, Talwiinder brought his signature sound to the stage, closing out the festival weekend.
Beyond the performances, attendees experienced several unique and feel-good moments across the venue. Roaming masseuses offered quick relaxation breaks between sets, while surprise shots were distributed among the crowd. Photographers captured candid memories, and interactive activities popping up around the grounds encouraged festival-goers to pause, participate and enjoy the atmosphere with friends.
Siddharth Anand Kumar, Executive Vice President – Films, Series and Events, Saregama said, “The way audiences engage with live entertainment is evolving. People today are looking for experiences that go beyond just watching a performance. With UN40, the idea was to build a festival where the audience could spend the entire day discovering something new — whether it was music, comedy, food, games or spontaneous moments across the venue. It was incredibly rewarding to see people embrace the festival in that spirit over the two days.”
With a strong turnout and enthusiastic participation, the debut edition of the UN40 Music Festival has added a new experience to Bengaluru’s live entertainment calendar. Building on this momentum, the festival will return for its second edition in February 2027, promising an even bigger celebration of music, culture and shared moments.
