Root Chetna: A Celebration of Traditional Music & Healthcare will take place on March 16 2026 from 6:00 PM onwards at Kamani Auditorium. The event is being organized by the Ministry of Culture in association with the Innovation Hope & Faith Foundation of India.
The evening promises a unique musical experience where classical music meets the idea of holistic well-being. Root Chetna – A Celebration of Traditional Music & Healthcare aims to highlight the connection between traditional Indian music and healing, bringing together heritage, mindfulness, and cultural expression through live performances.
The event will feature performances by some of India’s most respected classical musicians, including celebrated tabla maestro Pandit Kumar Bose, who will perform alongside Rohen Bose. Joining them will be renowned sarod exponent Pandit Debojyoti Bose.
Through this musical gathering, Root Chetna seeks to create an immersive environment where audiences can experience the power of traditional music not just as an art form, but as a medium of emotional and spiritual wellness. The evening is expected to attract classical music lovers, cultural enthusiasts, and those interested in the therapeutic value of traditional Indian music.
