Sonal Varma has joined NODWIN Gaming as Global Director – Live Initiatives, marking a new chapter after spending 15 years building and shaping the pop-culture convention ecosystem in India.
Varma has been closely associated with Comic Con India, where she played a key role in nurturing fandom communities and delivering large-scale fan experiences across the country. During her tenure, she contributed significantly to establishing Comic Con as a major platform for pop culture, comics, gaming, and entertainment enthusiasts.
At NODWIN Gaming, Varma will focus on expanding the company’s live initiatives globally, working across new intellectual properties, audiences, and formats. Her role will involve developing experiential platforms that bring together gaming, esports, and fan-driven culture through immersive live events.
