Punjabi singer-songwriter Karan Aujla and live entertainment promoter Team Innovation have announced a special return concert in Mumbai titled “Karan Aujla P-POP Culture India Tour – Mumbai 2.0,” scheduled for April 12, 2026. The event will be offered free of charge to all original ticket holders from the artist’s March 3, 2026 Holi concert in the city.
The initiative follows the Holi-themed concert held at MMRDA Grounds, which drew nearly 15,000 fans. After reviewing audience feedback from the event, the artist and promoters decided to return to Mumbai with a reimagined nighttime concert experience designed to enhance the overall fan experience.
Access to the upcoming concert will be provided without ticketing charges for all original attendees of the March 3 show. According to organisers, the move represents a rare step in India’s live entertainment industry, where a fully executed concert is being followed by a new performance offered exclusively to the same audience as a gesture of appreciation.
The April 12 event is expected to feature a large-scale production environment with enhanced stage design, technology and immersive elements intended to elevate the concert experience.
Karan Aujla said, “Mumbai has always shown me incredible love, and this concert is dedicated to my day ones! I want every fan to know they are valued, acknowledged and respected. For everyone who came out to celebrate with us, we’re coming back to create magic again and this time it’s going to be one wild party. Big shoutout to my brothers Team Innovation for doing this!”
Mohit Bijlani, Co-Founder of Team Innovation, said, “After reviewing and acknowledging the audience feedback, we felt the most meaningful way to respond was with a gesture of gratitude to the fans. Karan Aujla Mumbai 2.0 is designed as a fan appreciation concert dedicated to those who supported the tour’s Mumbai debut. At Team Innovation, we take active ownership of the audience experience and remain committed to continuously raising the bar for live entertainment in India.”
Siddhesh Kudtarkar, Co-Founder of Team Innovation, added that the organisers have carefully reviewed feedback received from the March event. “We have taken full cognisance of the audience feedback from the Mumbai event and acknowledge that additional shaded areas and hydration points could have further enhanced guest comfort at the venue. This feedback is important to us and will be incorporated into the planning of future events.”
He also clarified aspects of the event that had been misrepresented, noting that the concert had been designed as a daytime Holi-themed festival at an open-ground venue, with the format, timing and venue conditions communicated across ticketing and promotional platforms prior to purchase. Weather conditions on the day affected fans, artists and operational teams alike, he said, and no stampede or crowd-safety incidents were recorded, with the venue operating within planned capacity. Drinking water was available at designated counters across the venue, while the non-service of alcohol was due to a directive issued by state authorities across Maharashtra. Guests who had purchased lounge access where beverages formed part of the hospitality package were issued a 25 percent refund.
The Mumbai concert forms part of Aujla’s 10-city P-POP Culture India Tour, which has already recorded strong attendance in Delhi and Pune. The tour will continue across Chandigarh, Indore, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Jaipur, Lucknow, and Ludhiana through March and April.
Tickets for “Karan Aujla P-POP Culture India Tour – Mumbai 2.0” will be available through District by Zomato, the official ticketing partner for the tour. Original ticket holders from the March 3 concert will receive complimentary access, with new tickets sent to the same registered mobile number or email used for the initial purchase.
For new buyers, a limited number of tickets will also be released on the platform beginning March 8, 2026, with categories including Silver, Gold, P-Pop Pit and King of Good Times Lounge.
