Banyan Tree Events is organising “Symphony of Santoor – Echoes of Serenity,” a musical concert in Mumbai that will bring together Indian classical music and Western orchestral traditions in a unique collaborative performance.
The concert will feature internationally acclaimed Santoor maestro Rahul Shivkumar Sharma, who will perform with a 35-member chamber orchestra in a specially curated production blending the melodic depth of the santoor with orchestral arrangements.
The orchestra will be conducted by Samuel Tamarit Otero of the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra Pardubice, creating a cross-cultural musical presentation that combines Indian classical traditions with Western symphonic performance on a single stage.
Presented by Banyan Tree Events and supported by AVO Automation, the concert aims to offer audiences a distinctive musical experience that highlights the versatility of the santoor within an orchestral setting while bringing together two classical musical traditions.
