Shanu Singh Steps Down from BCCL

Shanu Singh has moved on from Bennett Coleman & Co. Ltd. (BCCL), where she most recently served as Director for the The Economic Times brand.

Singh had joined BCCL in 2025 to lead brand strategy and integrated marketing for The Economic Times across its print, digital, and events platforms. During her tenure, she was responsible for strengthening the publication’s positioning, driving audience engagement, and supporting advertiser partnerships through strategic marketing initiatives.

A seasoned marketing professional with more than 18 years of experience, Singh has built a career spanning brand strategy, integrated marketing, digital campaigns, client engagement, and corporate communications.

Prior to joining BCCL, she served as Chief Marketing Officer at ASK Asset & Wealth Management, a Blackstone portfolio company, where she led brand transformation and digital marketing initiatives. Earlier in her career, Singh held leadership roles at Standard Chartered Bank and Kotak Mahindra Bank, working on brand-building campaigns, strategic partnerships, and marketing programs that supported digital product adoption.

Her departure from BCCL marks the close of a chapter in which she contributed to the marketing and brand-building efforts of one of India’s leading business news platforms. Singh’s next professional move has not yet been publicly announced.
