Indian Event Leaders Drive Global Touring Conversations at ILMC 38

The 38th edition of the International Live Music Conference (ILMC) concluded in London from 24 to 27 February 2026, once again bringing together the most influential stakeholders in the global touring and live entertainment ecosystem. Recognised as one of the most important annual business platforms for the international live industry, ILMC convenes promoters, venue operators, artist managers, ticketing companies, rights holders and exhibition producers under one roof to shape the future of touring.

For India’s event and experiential sector, ILMC 38 was not just about attendance — it was about strategic participation.

A key highlight of this year’s programme was Touring Entertainment LIVE (TEL), held on 25 February. The dedicated summit focused on the business of large-scale touring exhibitions, family entertainment formats, immersive experiences, and brand-led live properties — segments that closely mirror the rapid evolution of India’s experiential economy.

TEL’s discussions centred on scalability, international IP movement, venue adaptation, commercial models, sustainability and cross-border collaborations — themes that are increasingly relevant as India hosts larger global productions and develops homegrown touring properties.

India’s live entertainment ecosystem was represented by a strong contingent of professionals, including:

Alaap Gosher, TM Ventures

Amarjeet Singha & Anmol Kukreja, Skillbox

Ashish Hemrajani, BookMyShow

Deepak Choudhary, Eva Live (India & Middle East)

Deepak Pawar, Midas Next Media

Jaydev Vadodaria, Kunal Khambhati & Mansi Bhassin, District by Zomato

Naman Pugalia, BookMyShow Live

Samit Garg, E-Factor Experiences Limited

Vinod Janardhan, Eva Live

Rahul Ganjoo – CEO, District by Zomato

Kunal Khambhati – Founder & COO – Events at District by Zomato

Mansi Bhassin – Assistant Vice President, District by Zomato

Their participation reflects India’s continued engagement with the global touring ecosystem at a time when the country is hosting an increasing number of international tours, arena concerts and large-format live experiences. Attendance at ILMC and TEL provides opportunities to exchange market insights, explore partnerships and align with international touring practices.

Ashish Hemrajani, Founder & CEO of BookMyShow, was featured as a speaker on the Glocalisation of Live Music panel at ILMC 38, alongside Maria May (Agent, CAA), Omar Al-Joulani (President of Touring, Live Nation) and David Powell (Chief Strategy & Business Development Officer, Ethara), where they discussed how live music is expanding beyond traditional markets and the implications for global touring strategies.

As the live entertainment business becomes more interconnected, representation from Indian companies at global industry forums such as ILMC indicates the country’s growing role in international touring and experiential entertainment discussions.
