Dehradun’s cultural calendar is set for an unconventional addition this Holi season as Aaroha Musical Wellness presents “Bhajan Clubbing,” a participatory musical gathering led by the devotional rock band Keshavam.
Scheduled for Monday, 2nd March 2026 at 4:00 pm, the event will take place at MJ Grand Inn on Rajpur Road.
Organisers describe the format as neither a concert nor a traditional bhajan evening. Instead, Bhajan Clubbing blends devotional music with modern rock elements, encouraging attendees to sing, clap, sway and engage actively with the performance. The concept aims to move away from the formality of staged performances and towards collective musical participation.
“As Aaroha, we aim to promote holistic-musical wellness tourism in Uttarakhand.
This way all age groups from 18 – 55 can enjoy Bhajan Jamming and learn the art of just “letting go”. You don’t come to watch—you come to feel, to participate, and to leave lighter than you arrived.“There’s no stage hierarchy here—everyone is part of the music,” says Bani Sharma, Co-Founder Aaroha Musical Wellness.
The featured act, Keshavam Devotional Rock Band, is known for presenting bhajans in a contemporary format, blending traditional compositions with modern instrumentation to create an immersive, high-energy atmosphere.
Lovish Sheetal and Prakriti Sharma Arora, founders of the band Keshavam, said, “Bhajans were always meant to be lived, not performed. When people sing together without inhibition, something shifts. It becomes a celebration, not a ceremony.”
Set against the backdrop of Holi festivities, the event aims to bring together music enthusiasts, cultural audiences and those seeking a socially engaging spiritual experience. Organisers said the evening is designed to create a space where spirituality intersects with rhythm and community participation.
Passes, starting from Rs 499 onwards, are available via an online booking link.
