PepsiCo Elevates Amit Kumar Nanchahal as Brand Communications Head – International Beverages

PepsiCo has appointed Amit Kumar Nanchahal as Brand Communications Head – International Beverages, placing him in charge of global communications for the company’s Sting Energy and Mountain Dew brands. The announcement was confirmed through Nanchahal’s LinkedIn update and industry media reporting.

In his new role, Nanchahal will lead the development and execution of strategic communications that shape the narrative and reputation of two of PepsiCo’s most dynamic beverage brands across international markets.

Nanchahal has been with PepsiCo for seven years, most recently serving as Head of Corporate Communications for India and South Asia. In that capacity, he oversaw marketing communications for both food and beverage portfolios, sustainability messaging, digital communications, and internal communications efforts designed to bolster corporate reputation. Earlier in his tenure with PepsiCo, he also served as Associate Director, heading communications for the food category and sustainability initiatives.

Before joining PepsiCo, Nanchahal built a diverse communications career. He spent two years in senior corporate communications roles at Ola (ANI Technologies Pvt Ltd), more than nine years at SABMiller India managing media relations, internal engagement and sustainability communications, and nearly three years at the Confederation of Indian Industry where he focused on corporate communications and events.

With more than two decades of experience in strategic communications and sustainability, Nanchahal’s elevation reflects PepsiCo’s continued focus on strengthening brand communications across its international beverage portfolio.
