Tribes Communication marked a major milestone with the 11th edition of its flagship conference, ROAR 2026, held in New Delhi, signalling the start of a strategic new chapter as the agency transitions into a fully independent organization and sharpens its focus on strategy-led growth.
The two-day conference brought together the leadership team and over 250 employees from across India to reflect on a decade of institution building, celebrate collective achievements and align on a future-focused roadmap anchored in consulting, data and digital intelligence.
Addressing the gathering, Gour Gupta, Chairman and Managing Director, said the shift to full independence marks a mandate for transformation rather than just a corporate milestone. He underlined that the next phase of Tribes’ growth campaign will focus on becoming a consulting-led, technology-enabled partner, where strategy, creative, digital and experiential capabilities converge to solve real business challenges, while remaining proudly Indian in insight and global in standards.
The transition to independence represents a structural and strategic inflection point for the agency, enabling faster decision-making and deeper operational control. This strengthens Tribes’ ability to deliver integrated and outcome-driven solutions by unifying strategy, creative, digital and experiential services into a single, business-aligned engagement model for clients.
ROAR 2026 also recognised organisational excellence, with top performers honoured through annual awards that reinforced the agency’s culture of meritocracy and ownership.
The conference featured sessions by Sonal Dabral, former Chief Creative Officer and Chairman at DDB Mudra, and Shivender Pratap Singh Kanwar. Sonal Dabral spoke about creativity, collaboration and the role of collective vision in building meaningful brands. Colonel Kanwar drew parallels between Special Forces teamwork and high-performance corporate cultures, highlighting resilience, leadership and shared responsibility.
Set against a backdrop of music, collaborative experiences and internal activations, ROAR 2026 re-energized teams and strengthened cross-functional bonds within the organization. The event underscored that Tribes’ next growth phase will be driven by collective ownership, agile execution and a renewed focus on delivering insight-led and measurable business outcomes.
As it enters its next chapter as a fully independent agency, Tribes Communication positions itself as a consulting-driven, technology-enabled partner with a clear mandate to build brands through strategic clarity, creative strength and demonstrable business impact.
