Aoneha Tagore, former Head of Editorial at Spotify India, has announced the launch of Collabor8 Agency, a new artist management and brand advisory firm operating in the music and brand partnerships space.
Founded in late 2025, Collabor8 is positioned as a response to what Tagore describes as a gap in the Indian music ecosystem, where many artists continue to be managed primarily around short-term release cycles despite their expanding roles as cultural and community-facing figures. The agency’s model focuses on long-term planning and sustained career development.
Collabor8 offers an integrated suite of services spanning music strategy, public relations, social media, content development, brand partnerships, monetisation and positioning. These services are structured under what the agency terms “Music Surround Services,” aimed at aligning creative output with broader professional objectives.
Tagore brings more than two decades of experience across radio, television and digital platforms. Her career includes roles at WorldSpace Satellite Radio, Fever FM, Oye FM, Radio City, 9X Network, MTV and Vh1, and she was also associated with the launch of MTV Beats. Most recently, she led Spotify India’s editorial operations, overseeing playlist strategy and artist programming during a period of significant growth for the platform in the country.
At Collabor8, artist management is structured around long-term brand building and audience development rather than campaign-led promotion. The agency states that it works with artists across different career stages, developing customised strategies aligned with individual goals and market positioning.
Speaking about the launch, Tagore said that many artists are still managed primarily around upcoming releases, despite functioning across music, culture and community spaces. She added that Collabor8 aims to help artists define how they want to be perceived and build sustained engagement with their audiences.
The agency has begun working with a mix of emerging and established artists and plans to prioritise career planning that extends beyond conventional release cycles.
