The Diplomatist Magazine Announces 7th Agri Business Conclave & Awards 2026 Under Diplomatist@30 Initiative

The Diplomatist Magazine has announced the 7th Agri Business Conclave & Awards 2026, scheduled to be held on March 24, 2026, under its Diplomatist@30 initiative, in partnership with The Energy and Resources Institute, School of Advanced Studies (SAS).

Over the years, the Diplomatist Agri Business Conclave has evolved into a recognised platform examining agriculture not merely as a domestic priority, but as a strategic pillar of global cooperation, climate action, development diplomacy, and inclusive economic growth. Each edition has convened diplomats, policymakers, agribusiness leaders, development partners, research institutions, and innovators to advance dialogue on food security and sustainability.

The 2026 edition coincides with the International Year of the Woman Farmer (IYWF 2026), declared by the United Nations and led by the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO). In this context, the Conclave will place strong emphasis on science-led, sustainability-driven, and inclusive agricultural solutions, while recognising women farmers as central agents in building resilient global agrifood systems amid climate stress, food insecurity, resource constraints, and technological transformation.

The Conclave will be organised under the theme: “Cultivating Global Partnerships: India, Innovation & Inclusive Sustainable Agriculture.”

Key focus areas will include:

  • India’s emerging role as a global agriculture and sustainability partner
  • Climate-smart and nature-positive agricultural practices
  • Science, technology and innovation, including biotechnology, nanotechnology, AI-enabled solutions, and digital agriculture
  • Women farmers in global agrifood systems, aligned with IYWF 2026
  • Agri diplomacy and development cooperation
  • Trade, value chains and market access
  • Energy–agriculture–climate nexus

In addition to policy discussions, the event will host the Agri Business Awards 2026, recognising leadership, innovation, sustainability excellence, and impactful global partnerships across agriculture and allied sectors.

The Conclave is expected to draw participation from foreign diplomats and missions, government ministries, multilateral organisations, research and policy institutions, agribusiness leaders, agri-tech innovators, women farmer organisations, development partners, and academia.

Through this initiative, The Diplomatist Magazine aims to strengthen international collaboration, elevate policy-relevant dialogue, and contribute to the development of resilient, inclusive, and future-ready global agrifood systems.

The organisers have extended invitations to stakeholders and partners to explore opportunities for collaboration aligned with strategic priorities.
