The World Pickleball League (WPBL) has announced an exciting new fan-engagement initiative titled the Pickler Contest, offering a rare opportunity for pickleball enthusiasts and budding players to share the court with Bollywood megastar Aamir Khan.
As part of the initiative, WPBL has invited Mumbai-based pickleball players with a Doubles DUPR rating above 3.5 to participate in a special match alongside Aamir Khan. The selected participants will play with the actor on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at the Jio World Garden, bringing together celebrity presence and grassroots sporting talent on a single court.
Entries for the Pickler Contest are open through WPBL’s official platform and will remain open until 5:00 PM on February 6, 2026.
The initiative forms part of WPBL’s broader strategy under its second campaign, which focuses on leveraging high-credibility voices to bring the sport closer to the public. With international-standard competition, rising participation, and growing visibility, the World Pickleball League continues to strengthen pickleball’s position as one of India’s fastest-growing recreational and competitive sports.
