SOCIAL Launches ‘The Pincode Party’, A Hyperlocal Cultural IP Celebrating Neighbourhood Life

SOCIAL, India’s neighbourhood café-bar brand, has introduced a new cultural intellectual property titled The Pincode Party, designed to celebrate local communities, culture and everyday neighbourhood life, one pincode at a time.

The IP was unveiled with its first edition at Versova SOCIAL, where the evening reflected the character of the neighbourhood itself. From music and creative pop-ups to informal conversations and familiar faces, the experience was shaped by the rhythms and people of Versova, positioning the locality as the central driver of the format.

With The Pincode Party, SOCIAL formalises its long-standing hyperlocal philosophy into a recurring cultural platform. Each edition is rooted in its location, with local artists, creators, businesses and audiences shaping the programming. Rather than applying a fixed template, the format adapts to the unique energy, references and social fabric of each pincode.

“SOCIAL has always been shaped by the neighbourhoods it exists in. The Pincode Party is our way of putting that front and centre. Every pin code has its own energy, its own regulars and its own references, and we wanted to build an IP that lets those things lead. So instead of bringing a template to Versova, we brought Versova into SOCIAL. The music, the makers, the conversations and the crowd are all local, and that is what makes each edition feel real. This is not an event you attend, it is a neighbourhood you become part of,” said Divya Aggarwal, Chief Growth Officer, Impresario Entertainment & Hospitality Pvt. Ltd..

The debut edition at Versova drew close to 50 attendees, including walk-ins and ticketed guests. The audience comprised local regulars, first-time visitors and neighbourhood residents, many of whom moved through the space organically—arriving, socialising, discovering new experiences and staying longer than planned.

The evening featured five hyperlocal stalls and experiences alongside live music, trivia-led moments and a high-energy closing set by Midnight Bombay. Musical performances included sets by Sawan (@songsofsawan) and Madhvaani (@madhvaani), along with a special vocal performance by Rebacca.

The pop-up experiences reflected Versova’s creative ecosystem, including hands-on candle making by Saga Studio, live tattooing and piercing by Kranti Tattoo & Piercing, graphic merchandise from Freewillers Club, nail art by Nao’s Aura Nails, and a neighbourhood food pop-up by Suraj Lama Momos. The mix prioritised participation and familiarity over conventional curation.

Local artists, DJs, bands and creators formed the core of the programming, supported by homegrown stall partners. Dine-in guests also joined the experience organically during live performances, reinforcing the intent of the IP as a community-led gathering rather than a standalone event.

With The Pincode Party, SOCIAL signals the start of a new cultural chapter for the brand. Following its debut in Versova, the IP is set to travel across SOCIAL outlets, with each edition shaped entirely by its respective pincode. As it expands city by city, the platform aims to spotlight local voices, everyday culture and neighbourhood-specific details, reinforcing SOCIAL’s positioning as a space where communities not only gather, but take centre stage.
