Known for crafting immersive, detail-driven luxury weddings, Momente Weddings has long been associated with emotionally rich and visually compelling experiences. With RIEMAGINE, a large-scale experiential event curated for EO Pune, the brand marked a significant crossover into the business events space. Hosted in Pune and attended by nearly 850 delegates, RIEMAGINE was envisioned as a learning and networking platform that broke away from conventional corporate formats.
Featuring 360-degree screens, layered production design, and tightly coordinated multi-venue logistics, the event brought together leading business minds and cultural icons including MS Dhoni, Sanjay Dutt, and Nikhil Kamath. In this exclusive conversation with EVENTFAQS Media, Neha Shroff, Partner at Momente Weddings, shares insights into the creative thinking, design approach, and execution philosophy that shaped RIEMAGINE—and how wedding-led storytelling can seamlessly translate into large-scale experiential events.
Q. Momente Weddings is widely known for crafting unforgettable wedding experiences — what drew you to take on a large-scale experiential business event like RIEMAGINE?
Even though weddings remain our core, we have always been drawn to experiential formats that allow for creativity at scale. In the past, we have also executed events like Frolic Fields, a joyful family festival inspired by our journey as parents, designed to create space for learning, play, and connection.
RIEMAGINE came to us through an existing relationship with a past wedding client who was closely involved with the event. What stood out was that it was designed as a social-led celebration rather than a conventional corporate format. The scope, scale, and creative freedom in the ideas shared with us made it a very attractive proposition, and reinforced how versatile our experience is when it comes to designing different kinds of experiences.
Q. How did your background in weddings influence your approach to designing a learning and networking platform for EO Pune?
We approached RIEMAGINE much like we would approach a large wedding social, with a strong focus on flow, energy, and guest engagement. We regularly design multi-day celebrations that function almost like festivals, with layered programming, interactive elements, curated food and beverage experiences, artists, and moments of discovery. That same way of thinking shaped how we designed RIEMAGINE as a learning and networking platform, even though it sat within a business context.
Q. The event stood out for its detailed production design — what were the biggest technical and creative challenges in executing a visually immersive setup at this scale?
At this scale, the design complexity naturally changes. Managing the vision across a much larger setup while ensuring that all elements come together cohesively was a key challenge. Executing detailed production design at this level requires careful coordination so the experience feels immersive without losing clarity or flow.
Q. RIEMAGINE hosted business leaders and cultural icons like MS Dhoni, Sanjay Dutt, and Nikhil Kamath — how does event design change when working with personalities of this stature?
The presence of speakers did not change the vision. In fact, it was the vision and the ideas we put forward that attracted the speakers in the first place. They could see it as something different, a new format and a new idea. The design remained consistent, and the speakers aligned with that vision rather than the other way around.
Q. Having successfully executed a large-scale experiential event like RIEMAGINE, do you see Momente Weddings staying within the wedding ecosystem — or redefining itself as a broader experience design company?
Weddings have shaped Momente’s identity and remain central to what we do. At the same time, projects like RIEMAGINE and Frolic Fields reflect how our approach to experience design can translate beyond weddings. We are open to working across different formats, including business and cultural events, where we can apply the same level of creativity, detail, and storytelling. Today, we see Momente as a company that designs meaningful experiences across different verticals, wherever our expertise can add value.
